Next Thursday the children will attend Mass in church at 10 o’clock to celebrate this solemnity. St Peter was the first leader of the church, the first Pope and inspiration to our current Pope Francis and Paul was the first great missionary of the Gospel spreading the ‘Good News’ far and wide in neighbouring lands.
His letters to the new Christian communities that were founded are in the New Testament in Bible and remain an inspiration to us today.
