PE and Sports Funding
The Government provides additional funding to schools to support all children and young people to live healthy active lives. This is particularly true of primary schools. At St James the Great, we want to build the foundations of positive and enjoyable participation in regular physical activity and sporting activities.
Alongside active playtimes and lunchtimes we provide high-quality PE provision taught by confident and knowledgeable staff. Our children have opportunities to experience and participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities. The PE and sport premium grant funding is used by us in a variety of ways.
