On Tuesday the school was delighted to welcome Tracey Corderoy and Chris Smith to speak to the children about their books and careers as writers. They were great guests and the children provided a wonderful audience for them asking thoughtful and stimulating questions.
Following two exciting workshops, the writers signed books in our new library. They were joined by members of the National Literacy Trust who have helped us rejuvenate it. We were also delighted to welcome representatives from Chase who had taken time out of an extremely busy schedule to share their love of books and reading with the children.
