BBC LAUNCHES THE ‘500 WORDS CHALLENGE’ AT ST JAMES THE GREAT

“Write a story you would love to read”

To celebrate this event, the BBC 500 Words Team came to our school on Thursday 10th October with the authors, Chris Smith and Greg James to inspire us and share some great writing tips in their exciting writing workshop.

Some of the children were interviewed for BBC Radio London and the television programme ‘The One Show’! It was an exciting experience for Key Stage 2!
