Home Learning Resources

Learning at home

Dear Parents,

These are difficult times and we think it is very important that children have a positive experience of learning at home with you. We suggest you work together to set a timetable and structure for your day.

There are lots of activities here on this webpage and if your child completes activities and you would like to email the office a photograph we will make every effort to share this on the website so that we can encourage each other with positive messages.

Please use this time to cook with your children, create things together, teach them how to do the laundry, sew some seeds or sew on a button! These are such important aspects of learning! We would love to see photographs!

Message from Twinkl

At Twinkl, our mission is to help those who teach and we are therefore taking steps to support continued learning at home, by offering the teachers and parents of children in schools which are closed, or facing closure, free access to all Twinkl resources for a period of one month in the first instance.

Guide to using Twinkl

We are grateful for Twinkl for this offer and the teachers at St John’s have included in their Closure Pack particular links for your children to use.
